This waitlist is run by the founder of Forearmax, an individual based in Spain, acting as the data controller for the information described here. Full company details will be published here once the company is incorporated. Questions or requests: hello@forearmax.com.
Because we are established in the EU, the GDPR applies to this waitlist even though most people joining it are outside Europe.
We do not ask for your name, your age in years, or any medical information, and we do not ask for photos. Two body measurements and a yes/no about a vein are all the tool collects, and it is entirely optional — you can join the list without measuring anything. There is no advertising tracker on this page.
We do use Google Analytics to count how many people visit this page and how far they get through it. It is not used to build a profile of you, to advertise to you, or to follow you across other websites — advertising storage is switched off everywhere, for everyone. We look at totals: how many visits, from which country, on which kind of device, and which step people stop at. Your IP address is anonymised.
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, none of that starts until you say yes. Analytics is switched off before the page even loads, you get a banner with a real choice, and if you say no — or ignore it — nothing is stored and nothing is counted. Everywhere else, analytics is on by default and sets the cookies described below.
To email you when Forearmax launches, to send your measurements back to you so you still have them in eight weeks, and to decide what to build first. That is the only use. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form.
Your email is stored by our form provider, Formspree, Inc. (United States), which processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Until the app launches and we have emailed you about it, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project is cancelled, the whole list is deleted and we will tell you before we do it.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list. Write to hello@forearmax.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EU and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es).
When analytics is active, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga (a random number so a repeat visit is not counted twice, kept for up to two years) and _ga_M784VDLY36 (keeps one visit together, kept for a few hours). Neither carries your name or your email, and neither is readable by any other website.
In the EU, the EEA and the UK they are not set unless you accept the banner. If you answer the banner either way, we remember your answer in your browser's local storage under fx_consent so we do not ask again. That one is stored whichever way you answer — it is the record of your choice. Clearing your browser data clears it, and the banner comes back.
Nothing else is stored: no advertising cookies, no third-party tags, no pixels.
Forearmax is for adults. It tracks your own measurements against your own starting point — it does not rank you against other people, and it does not score anyone's appearance but your own.
